Brown & Gold Majlis

Fabric: Malai Velvet A warm, traditionally styled majlis in rich chocolate-brown velvet, designed to give a cozy yet luxurious feel to a family sitting room or formal majlis hall. Every seat back is trimmed in bold gold Greek-key banding, and the backrest cushions carry a dense, all-over gold damask embroidery pattern that catches the light beautifully. The seating wraps the full room in an L-shape with box-style corner units and matching bolster side cushions. Behind the seating, tall curtain-style upholstered wall panels in the same brown-and-gold damask motif rise to the ceiling, framed with real flowing drapery in gold and bronze tied back at the sides — giving the whole room a palace-like backdrop. Two rectangular gold-trimmed glass-top coffee tables complete the set, placed on a busy brown, cream and gold patchwork-pattern carpet that pulls every tone in the room together. Ideal for those who want a heavier, more classic Arabic majlis look.
